We recognize that in having values as a business we may sometimes fall short, make mistakes, and be blindsided. It’s not ensuring that this won’t happen that moves us forward, it’s how we live our values to the best of our abilities when it does and learn from these moments to do better in the future. We commit to working with organizations whose work is rooted in similar values, and who practice inclusion, non-discrimination, and seek to elevate others with their outcomes.
As a business, we further commit to not directly working with any of the following:
- Entities and individuals whose work is centered on taking away the individual liberties and rights of others, either through direct advocacy or disavowing externalities that contribute to the climate crisis or the undermining of democracy and equity.
- Entities that practice discrimination against protected, marginalized, underrepresented, and underestimated groups in their own workplace and/or constituents that they serve either as a direct or indirect outcome of their practices and programs.
- Entities identified and listed as hate groups in the United States by the Southern Poverty Law Center.
